Barbera d'Asti d.o.c. It has intense ruby-red colour, tending to the garnet red after the ageing. Characteristic vinous perfume, tending to the ethereal. The taste is dry, still, thick, harmonic, palatable. With adequate ageing it gains complexity. It suits red meats, roast and cheeses of medium maturing.
